The Cyber Continuum
Information
Thought Leadership Session brought to you by CMS
Cyber incidents rarely follow a neat playbook. Drawing on a new, data‑driven global CMS study of real cyber incidents, this session explores the full cyber “continuum” – from preparation and prevention through to response and recovery – with a sharp focus on the role of in‑house legal teams.
The session opens with key findings from CMS’s brand‑new research, revealing where organisations tend to be overconfident, where roles and responsibilities remain unclear, and why coordination across internal and external teams is often the greatest challenge during a breach. Through live audience interaction, delegates will be able to compare their own assumptions and experiences with the study’s findings.
A multidisciplinary panel of legal, insurance and in‑house cybersecurity experts will then share practical case studies and lessons learned from real incidents, including how organisations manage stress, regulatory pressure, stakeholder communication and the increasing impact of AI on both cyber risk and cyber defence.
